CNN loves Comedy Central

CNN has been picking up on the coverage of the skits done on Comedy Central. They have reported more than once on the imitations of Palin and then the debate of McCain and Barack. It is interesting that a news station has picked up on the comedy parodies that make fun of the presidential candidates. We did not expect to see comedy reported as news on a semi-credible news station.

Well it was Tina Fey on SNL who does an amazing impression of Sarah Palin. I think that it is funny how a like they are and how much the news media is covering this as a real issue.

As a conservative, it is troubling that we have a VP candidate that is not strong and easy prey for the leftist media. What I find troubling is that if SNL did a dead on parody of Obama just like Gov. Palin, it would never make the Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer (I think I smell a double standard).

I disagree with JD's comment--parodies of Clinton were news during the primaries. Also, throwing around a term like 'leftist media' is inaccurate and irresponsible.
